New Document Shows Tara Reade told Ex-husband About Sexual Assault

New documents show that Tara Reade told her ex-husband about sexual harassment in Biden’s office.

The new documents, obtained by the San Luis Obispo Tribune, show Tara Reade told her ex-husband about problems of sexual harassment in Senator Biden’s office.

The document obtained is a court declaration by Reade’s ex-husband. It says that Reade told him about problems of sexual harassment in Biden’s Senate office. The declaration also goes on to say that Reade had a visibly traumatic experience due to the whole episode.

This declaration, filed in 1996, comes at a time when Biden’s campaign is looking for the complaint Reade filed in the Senate in 1993.

Reade’s ex-husband is not the first person to corroborate her allegations of sexual assault against Biden. The Intercept found a clip of a woman caller on Larry King Live in 1993. The woman said her daughter had a bad experience working with a Senator in DC. When Larry King asked if her daughter had a story to tell, the woman replied yes. Reade later clarified the caller was in fact her mother who passed away in 2016.

On April 27, Reade’s ex-neighbour also confirmed Reade told her about the sexual assault allegations in 1996.

Biden Campaign On New Document Corroborating Tara Reade Allegations – “No Comment”

Biden’s national press secretary TJ Ducklo declined to comment on the discovery of the new document. The former vice president, who would’ve hoped to use the months leading up to the convention to build some momentum, is busy defending himself from allegations of sexual assault.

While Biden has secured endorsements from top Democratic leadership, it remains unclear whether he has the undivided support of the Democratic base. His denial on MSNBC didn’t sit well with Democratic voters according to a Morning Consult Poll. The poll showed one in four Democrats who watched Biden’s denial wants a new candidate. Here is Biden’s denial on MSNBC.

While Biden fights these allegations, the rumour mill is abuzz with Hillary Clinton possibly replacing Biden on the ticket. If the story continues to grow, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Biden drop out.
